Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu

Altitude: 1,300 m / 4,265 ft
Accommodation: Hotel

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel located in the lively Thamel area.

Thamel is famous for its restaurants, cafés, trekking shops, and vibrant atmosphere. In the evening, you can relax or explore the nearby streets.

You will also meet your trekking guide and receive a briefing about the Everest Base Camp Trek.

Day 2 – Kathmandu to Lukla Flight and Trek to Phakding

Altitude: 2,651 m / 8,697 ft
Flight Duration: 35–40 minutes
Trek Duration: 3–4 hours
Trek Distance: 6.2 km

Early in the morning, take a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu or Manthali Airport to Lukla.

Upon arrival in Lukla, meet the local trekking crew and begin your trek toward Phakding. The trail passes through beautiful mountain villages, prayer flags, forests, and suspension bridges.

Enjoy the peaceful Himalayan atmosphere while following the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 3 – Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Altitude: 3,440 m / 11,286 ft
Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
Trek Distance: 7.4 km

After breakfast, continue trekking through forests, villages, and yak grazing areas.

Enter Sagarmatha National Park and cross several suspension bridges before reaching Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region.

Namche Bazaar is the largest Sherpa town in the Khumbu region and an important center for trekkers and climbers.

Day 4 – Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

You can take a short hike around Namche or visit Khumjung Village and the school established by Sir Edmund Hillary.

Day 5 – Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Walk past Buddhist stupas, mani walls, prayer flags, and forests before reaching Tengboche Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in the Everest region.

Day 6 – Tengboche to Dingboche

Day 7 – Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Day 8 – Dingboche to Lobuche

Day 9 – Lobuche to Gorakshep and Hike to Kalapatthar

Today is one of the most exciting days of the trek.

Trek across rocky terrain to Gorakshep, the final settlement before Everest Base Camp. After lunch, hike to Kalapatthar, one of the best viewpoints in Nepal.

Day 10 – Everest Base Camp Trek and Return to Pheriche

Day 13 – Lukla to Kathmandu Flight

Take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu or Manthali Airport depending on weather and airport conditions.
