Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative or driver, who will meet you at the airport with a placard displaying your name.
After meeting your driver, begin your scenic journey towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The drive from Paro to Thimphu offers beautiful views of the Himalayan landscape, rivers, forests and traditional Bhutanese villages.
Thimphu is the largest city and capital of Bhutan and is known for its fascinating combination of traditional Bhutanese culture and modern life. The city is home to impressive monasteries, government buildings, handicraft centres and important Buddhist sites.
Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to visit Tashichho Dzong, one of Thimphu’s most important landmarks. Also known as Thimphu Dzong, this impressive fortress monastery is associated with the Bhutanese government and religious administration.
After arriving in Thimphu, check into your hotel and spend the remaining time relaxing after your journey.

After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour of Thimphu.
Your first major stop will be Buddha Dordenma, also known as Buddha Point. This enormous statue of Shakyamuni Buddha overlooks the Thimphu Valley and has become one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks. The peaceful surroundings and panoramic views make this an excellent place to begin your exploration of Bhutan.
If time and fitness levels permit, you may also enjoy a walk or hike in the surrounding area towards Changangkha Lhakhang, a beautiful temple located on a hill above Thimphu. The area offers impressive views of the valley and an opportunity to experience Bhutan’s peaceful natural environment.
You may also have the chance to see the takin, Bhutan’s unique national animal.
Later, visit a traditional handmade paper factory to learn about Bhutan’s traditional paper-making techniques. Handmade Bhutanese paper is an important local craft and is often used for religious texts, artwork and decorative items.
After sightseeing, return to your hotel.

The drive takes you through beautiful mountain landscapes and winding Himalayan roads. One of the highlights of today’s journey is a stop at the famous Dochula Pass, located at an altitude of approximately 3,100 metres.
On a clear day, Dochula Pass offers spectacular views of the Himalayan mountain range. The pass is also known for the 108 memorial chortens, which create one of the most memorable landscapes in Bhutan.
Continue your journey towards Punakha.
Punakha is known for its beautiful valley, pleasant climate, traditional villages and fertile agricultural land. The region is particularly famous for rice cultivation and its spectacular fortress monastery.
After arriving in Punakha, check into your hotel and continue with local sightseeing.
Visit Chimi Lhakhang, popularly known as the Fertility Temple. The temple is associated with Lama Drukpa Kunley and is an important cultural and religious site in Bhutan.
Later, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful and historically important dzongs in Bhutan. Located near the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, the fortress is an impressive example of traditional Bhutanese architecture.
You will also have the opportunity to visit or walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge, which offers beautiful views of the surrounding valley and river.

Paro is one of Bhutan’s most beautiful valleys and is famous for its traditional architecture, monasteries and stunning natural surroundings.

After an early breakfast, begin one of the most memorable experiences of your Bhutan Tour Package – a visit to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery, also known as Paro Taktsang.
The monastery is dramatically located on a cliff above the Paro Valley and is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Bhutan.
You will drive to the starting point of the hiking trail before beginning your journey towards the monastery. The hike is rewarding, offering spectacular views of the mountains, forests and Paro Valley.
Tiger’s Nest Monastery is closely associated with Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, who is believed to have meditated in this area.
After completing the visit and returning from the hike, enjoy some rest and refreshments.
Later, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan. The temple is an important place of worship and offers visitors a peaceful introduction to Bhutanese Buddhist traditions.
