Kerala 9 Nights 10 Days Itinerary in detail :

Day 1: Arrive in Cochin – Fort Kochi Sightseeing

Our representative will meet you at Cochin airport and take you to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, head out on an afternoon city tour. You will see the Dutch Palace in Mattancherry, the colourful shops of Jew Town and the 1568 Paradesi Synagogue. You will also pass the spice market, St. Francis Church and the Chinese fishing nets on the waterfront.

In the evening, watch a live Kathakali performance, one of Kerala’s best-known classical art forms. Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 2: Cochin to Munnar

After breakfast, drive to Munnar (about 4½ hours). The road climbs through spice farms, waterfalls and rolling hills. Check in on arrival and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can stroll through a tea plantation or try paragliding if the season allows. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing – Eravikulam National Park and Top Station

Today is a full day of sightseeing around Munnar. Begin at Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri tahr, with views toward Anamudi, South India’s highest peak at 2,695 m. On the way, stop at Christ Church, the Rajamalai hills and Mattupetty Dam, a popular spot for boating and horse riding. The drive ends at Top Station, which offers wide views across the Western Ghats. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Note: Eravikulam National Park closes every year during the calving season, usually in February and March. Please confirm the exact dates before travel. If the park is closed, we will replace it with another Munnar attraction.

Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady (Periyar)

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (about 4 hours) and check in. In the evening, take a boat ride on Periyar Lake, where you may spot elephants, deer, wild boar and many bird species. You can also visit nearby tribal villages and learn how local communities collect forest honey. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady to Kumarakom

Drive to Kumarakom (about 3½ hours) after breakfast and check in at a backwater resort. The rest of the day is free to relax by the lake, take a short village walk or simply enjoy the quiet. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 6: Alleppey Houseboat Cruise

After breakfast, transfer to the boarding point and step onto your private kettuvallam (traditional houseboat). You will cruise slowly through the Alleppey backwaters, past coconut groves, paddy fields and village life. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on board, and you spend the night on the water. Check-in is around midday and check-out is the next morning.

Day 7: Alleppey to Kovalam

After disembarking, drive to Kovalam (about 4 to 5 hours) and check in at your beach hotel. Spend the rest of the day on the sand, swim in the shallow water or book an optional Ayurvedic massage. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 8: Kovalam Beach Day

Today is free for you to explore at your own pace. Popular options include Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach. You can also try water sports, a sunset walk or a relaxing spa session. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 9: Trivandrum City Tour

After breakfast, drive to Trivandrum for a half-day city tour. The highlight is the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the 108 Divya Desams for Vaishnavites, known for its detailed stone carvings and tall pillared halls. Return to Kovalam in the afternoon and enjoy the beach in the evening. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Note: Temple entry has a strict dress code. Please carry traditional attire.

Day 10: Kovalam Departure

After breakfast, you are transferred to Trivandrum airport for your onward flight.
