Day 1 – Arrival in Khajuraho & Temple Tour

Your Khajuraho Orchha tour package begins when you arrive at Khajuraho Airport or Khajuraho Railway Station. Our driver will meet you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel.

After checking in and taking some time to freshen up, you will begin your Khajuraho sightseeing tour with your private driver and local guide.

Your first visit will be to the famous Western Group of Temples, the best-known collection within the Khajuraho Group of Monuments. Built mainly between the 9th and 11th centuries, these temples are renowned for their detailed stone carvings, sculptures and impressive Nagara-style architecture.

You will then continue exploring the Eastern, Southern and Northern temple groups, each offering a different perspective on Khajuraho’s architectural and cultural heritage.

The Khajuraho monuments are recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are among the most remarkable examples of medieval Indian temple architecture.

After sightseeing, your driver will take you back to the hotel. The evening is free for you to relax.

Day 2 – Pandav Falls, Panna & Tribal Culture

After breakfast, leave Khajuraho for a day of nature, wildlife and local culture.

Your first stop is Pandav Falls, located approximately 30 km from Khajuraho. Surrounded by greenery, this picturesque waterfall creates a peaceful setting away from the busy tourist areas. You can spend some time enjoying the scenery and taking photographs.

Continue towards Panna National Park, an important wildlife destination in Madhya Pradesh and one of India’s recognised tiger reserves. Depending on the season, park conditions and available permits, you may have the opportunity to explore the area’s wildlife and natural landscapes.

Later, visit the Adivart Tribal Museum, where you can learn more about the traditional lifestyles, art, crafts and cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh’s tribal communities.

After completing the day’s sightseeing, return to your Khajuraho hotel by private vehicle.

Day 3 – Khajuraho to Orchha & Orchha Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out from your Khajuraho hotel and begin your journey to Orchha. The drive generally takes around 3–4 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions.

The journey offers an opportunity to see the countryside and villages of Madhya Pradesh along the way.

On arrival in Orchha, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax before beginning your sightseeing tour with your guide.

Explore Orchha Fort, an impressive historical complex associated with the Bundela rulers. The fort complex contains palaces, temples and historic structures that reflect the architectural traditions of the region.

Continue to Shri Ram Raja Temple, one of the most unusual and important temples in Orchha. You will also visit the magnificent Chaturbhuj Temple, known for its imposing architecture and elevated position.

Later, spend some peaceful time near the Betwa River, which adds to Orchha’s distinctive landscape and historic character.

After sightseeing, return to your hotel.

Day 4 – Orchha to Jhansi Railway Station

After breakfast, check out from your Orchha hotel and prepare for your onward journey.

Your private driver will pick you up and take you to Jhansi Railway Station, officially known as Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Railway Station. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic and road conditions.

You will be dropped at the railway station in time for your train to your next destination.

This marks the end of your 4-day Khajuraho and Orchha tour.
